The Rumailah Hospital (RH) is a member of the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), as one out of four highly specialized hospitals. HMC is the premier non-profit healthcare provider in Doha, Qatar, and was established in 1979. In addition to RH the Hamad General Hospital, the Women’s Hospital, the Psychiatric Hospital and the Primary Health Care Centers are members of the Corporation.
New Interim Skilled Nursing Facility
The new Interim Skilled Nursing Facility of the Hamad Medical Corporation has been opened at Rumailah Hospital to cater to partially dependent, less acute and longer term patients. The first and so far only facility of its kind in the region is based on the concept of providing skilled nursing care in a home-like environment. With a dedicated team of health professionals and an advanced care system, the nursing facility provides a more flexible, comfortable, environment that enhances the ability of patients to function independently and engage more with family and friends.
